Milton Owens, M.D., F.A.C.S., Medical Director

Dr. Owens has been doing Bariatric surgery in Southern California since 1987. His experience includes thousands of open and laparoscopic Gastric Bypass' and Adjustable Bands. Dr. Owens is one of the most experienced Bariatric Surgeons in California. He is the first in Southern California offering Sleeve Gastrectomy and one of several now offering the adjustable band to patients with BMI's of 30-35. Dr. Owens' surgical skill includes routine and complex revisions. Two of Dr. Owens research papers recently submitted to the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery have been accepted for presentation in June of 2008. Dr. Owens is Director of Bariatric Surgery at Rancho Cucamonga Specialty Hospital and a member of the staffs at Chapman Hospital in Orange, Alvarado Hospital in San Diego, Tri City Hospital in Hawaiian Gardens, and Torrance Hospital in Torrance, California.
